Message from the Developer

Welcome to the Managenet (NZ). My name is Jacob Marshall and I'm the founder of Managenet. I've been working on a new way of collaborating school documents online for a while now. Managenet is my latest project, combining the speed of PHP with the power of MySQL to create a new online workspace environment for High Schools based in New Zealand. More details on the software pack will be announced as more work is done on the development. The system is currently being coded in a server sided scripting language called PHP. The database software is a secure and powerful database server called MySQL. Put the two together and it allows you to create a speedy engine to power the software we are creating. The software is not open source and we host the Git source on a website called BitBucket. This is locked to only be read by authorized members of the Git service. Once the service is completely ready for the initial release it will NOT be encoded or obfuscated, like other closed-source software packages.

Because Managenet is closed-source, the server that hosts your schools website will be provided by Managenet on an on-shore location here in Aotearoa, New Zealand. No need to setup or configure, we'll sort all of that out for you at no extra cost. And because we setup the servers for you, you know that whatever server you get, will be perfectly suited to run Managenet for your school.

We have a live demo that you are able to stalk our progress on. This site has no proper function yet and no login details have been released. If you wish to try out the pre-release of Managenet, please visit http://demo.manage.net.nz/ . (Please note that Managenet is currently in development, if you come across an error please make sure you report it).
